Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom
Lambertville, NJ
Rolling Thunder was incorporated in 1995 as a non-profit organization with over 90 chapters in the United States. While a number of the Rolling Thunder members are veterans who ride motorcycles, it is not necessary in order to be a member. They are united in the cause of bringing accountability for the Prisoners-of-War and Missing In Action of all wars, living by the statement: "We Will Not Forget."
This Ride for Freedom is not a parade for motorcyclists, it is a demonstration to pay respect to those who gave their lives for our everyday freedom, and to publicize for the POW/MIA and Veteran's Rights. You do not have to be a member in order to ride, and you don't have to ride in order to attend - many people line the streets simply to watch the procession and pay respects to American heroes.
