The Sturgis Rally began in 1938 when the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club had races that attracted a small number of people in the Black Hills, and has now grown to attract hundreds of thousands of biker annually!
The rides that Sturgis has to offer you are beautiful and expansive - with tours to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Devil's Tower, the Badlands, Black Hills National Forest and multiple state parks, you'd have to drive for days in order to experience all of the beauty that South Dakota offers. The towns of Deadwood and Lead are a part of history that also offer tons of touring opportunities.
At the Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, there will be exhibitors and demo rides, concerts, bike races and games, bike shows, the Mayor's Ride, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame and much, much more waiting for you!
Eye protection is required by law unless you have a windscreen on your bike.
