Labor Day Weekend Overnighter! Kings Canyon National Park is adjacent to Sequoia National Park in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. It's known for its huge sequoia trees, notably the gigantic General Grant Tree in Grant Grove. From there we will trek along the Kings River to Cedar Grove, then to Hume Lake for some ice cream, then back to the Chapman’s for a BBQ feast.
