Sponsored by Cambria, Somerset, Westmoreland Counties & ABATE, This Flight 93 and Quecreek Mine Memorial Ride will leave from Greenhouse Park and head into Somerset, PA so that riders and passengers can pay respects at the crash site of 9/11's Flight 93 and the Quecreek Mine Rescue Memorial just a few miles down the road. The memorial for the Mine Rescue Memorial features a 7-ft bronze statue of a miner, seated and reading a book. The Memorial Plaza includes a visitor shelter and arrival court, a memorial plaza wall w/ a walkway and places of rest and contemplation, a wall of names and flight path & the impact site with a boulder landmark.
